Reasons for collecting retro toys among adults in Japan 2022
Preferences from childhood were the leading reason for which adult collectors started to collect retro toys as revealed in a survey conducted among adults aged 40 to 69 years in June 2022 in Japan. More than 40 percent of respondents stated that they collected them since childhood, with another 27.9 percent naming the financial flexibility of being an adult as a reason for starting the collection.
