This statistic displays the findings of a survey that asked generation X respondents which high street bank they have their main (most active) current account with. Generation X are often defined as persons born between the early 1960's and late 1970's. This survey referred to respondents aged between 35 and 54 years as of June 2018. Barclays and Halifax are the most popular banks for generation X respondents with 15 percent using these banks as their main current account.
