Netflix's marketing spend 2017-2019

In 2019, Netflix's marketing expenses amounted to 2.65 billion U.S. dollars, up from 2.37 billion in the previous year. The company noted in its annual report that the growth in marketing spend in 2019 was due to increased compensation for employees as well as increased advertising and payments to marketing partners.
