According to a survey conducted in Brazil from March to July 2023, around 85 of the responding residents in urban areas of the country used the internet. Meanwhile, 78 percent of residents in rural regions of Brazil have accessed the web, representing a growth of 44 percentage points since the beginning of the analyzed period. Overall, it has been estimated that over 79 percent of the population of Brazil was online in 2023.
