According to a survey of social media users in Italy, YouTube was the most used social media platform as of 2022, with with 92 percent of respondents reporting using the platform. Facebook followed with approximately eight in nine respondents reporting engaging with the Meta-owned platform. Instagram ranked third, with eight in 10 respondents reporting to use the photo and video sharing social media as of 2022.
