According to the findings of a study on the state of Instagram influencer marketing, 27 percent of Instagram influencers from the United States were using inauthentic methods of growing their comment numbers. In comparison, Japan had the lowest share if influencers with inauthentic comments among the top five countries, at 18.6 percent.
