Walmart ranked third, with 41 million dollars in advertising spending on Facebook mobile in the country.

"Impressions – number of times a particular creative is loaded on a page as estimated by Pathmatics.
Methodology (Estimating Impressions) - We use statistical sampling methods to calculate impression estimates. We take the sample data from our panels and crawlers and combine it with third-party aggregate data to extrapolate our sample data to market estimates of impressions. Some of the data used in the extrapolation: monthly traffic data for each site tracked; IAB quarterly spend estimates for each tracked format; Facebook and Twitter quarterly earnings reports. Each impression served to our crawlers and panelists is assigned a CPM, which when combined with impressions results in our spend estimates"
