Brazil: Telegram users 2023, by generation

According to a 2023 survey, 47 percent of WhatsApp users in Brazil were Millennials. The instant messaging app has similar popularity among respondents from generations X and Z, with gradually less users among older age groups. Despite the hegemony of WhatsApp in the country, Telegram has experienced a surge in its growth during the last years and is now present in more than 65 percent of the smartphones in Brazil.
