Brazil: Telegram users 2024, by generation

According to a 2024 survey, 43 percent of WhatsApp users in Brazil were Millennials. The instant messaging app was popular among 27 percent of Generation Z and 29 percent of Generation X, with gradually fewer users among older age groups. Despite the hegemony of WhatsApp in the country, Telegram has experienced a surge in its growth during the last years and is now present in more than 68 percent of the smartphones in Brazil.
