Number of products purchased per person online vs. on social media 2023
As of August 2023, global consumers were most likely to buy between one and five products online. Similarly, a comparable portion of respondents made purchases within this range on social media. However, half of those surveyed admitted to abstaining from any purchases through social media channels, contrasting sharply with the mere seven percent who expressed similar reservations about online purchases in general.
