Government requests for content removal from Google H1 2022

Russia was by far the most prolific content removal requester in the first half of 2022. During the most recently reported period, courts and other executive branches of the Russian government submitted 21,863 data removal requests to Google. South Korea was ranked second with 6,254, while India ranked third with 2488 government content removal requests.
