Time spent with digital vs. traditional media in the U.S. 2011-2020
The average daily time spent with digital media is expected to increase from 403 minutes (six hours and 43 minutes) in 2019 to 451 minutes (seven hours and 31 minutes) in 2020. Higher consumption for 2020 has been predicted partially based on the coronavirus outbreak, with daily consumption of traditional media such as television, radio, newspapers, and magazines also expected to grow despite years of decline.
